If you have a blog then you must have to know how to optimize your blog posts for SEO. While writing a blog post keep few points in your mind which helps you to rank higher than your competitor in Search Engines.

Here are basic fundamentals of SEO to Optimize Blog post.

1. Keyword Rich URL:

Keyword Rich URL is the best way to tell Search Engine that your post is highly relevant to the specific keyword phrase.

2. Keyword Research:

Keyword research is an essential part of Search engine optimization. When you select the topic on which you are going to write your article then do the proper keyword research. Use those keywords and phrases in your blog post which will help you to rank higher in Search engine.

3. Proper Use of Keywords:

Once you select relevant and important keyword for your post or article then try to place those keyword phrases throughout the post so that Search engine easily get to know that your page is relevant to those specific keyword phrases.

Include important keywords in Title, Heading and Subheading of the post, Title tags and Meta description, Anchor Text and in Introductory and concluding paragraph of the post.

Use wisely these keywords in your article but don't stuff your article with keywords it looks like Keyword stuffing or spamming.

Include keywords in Title tag and put Title tag in H1 tag to tell Google to what is your page is all about.

5. Image Optimatization:

Include your keywords in Image file name and also in alternate text (alt tag) of the image. So that Search engine crawler can read image properly.
And image will appear for that keyword in Image search result.

6. Link Back to Other Bloggers post:

When you write post then you can include other bloggers link as a reference this is good way to write a blog and also you will get backlink from bloggers. Valuable backlinks matters a lot for Link Building in SEO.

7. Interlinking within your Post:

Do proper Interlinking within the related blog post.

8. Use of Social Media:

Share your post in Social Media platfrom such as Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other Social platforms. Make use of these platform as much as you can. Promote post in the related groups in community so that you can get more valuable users or readers for your blog.
