Famous National Parks in India

India is full of wildlife sanctuaries. In India there are 89 National parks, 13 Bio reserves and around 400 plus wildlife sanctuaries. Give your eyes to visual treat of wildlife tourism.

Here is the list of Famous National Parks in India.

1. Wandoor National Park, Andman and Nicobar

Wandoor National Park is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. It is a group of 15 islands in wandoor on the Andman Islands. Wandoor National Park started in 1983 and it spread in  281.5 square Km.
Attraction of Wandur National Park is Estuarine Crocodiles and Coconut Crabs.
Best time to visit from December to April.

2. Gir National Park, Gujarat

Gir National Park is also known as Sasan Gir National Park and located in Gujarat. Gir National park is started in 1965 and it spread in 1412 square Km.
Attraction of Gir National Park is Asiatic Lion.
Best time to visit from December to March.

3. Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh

Kanha National park is located in Mandala and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh. Kanha National park is started in 1955 and is spread in 940 square km.
Attraction of Kanha is Tigers, Elephants and Leopards.
Best time to visit from October to March.

4. Bandhavgarh National Park, Madhya Pradesh


Bandhavgarh National park is located in Umaria districts of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh National park is started in 1982 and is spread in 448.5 square km.
Attraction of Bandhavgarh is Tigers, Bears and Leopards.

5. Bandipur National Park, Karnataka

Bandipur National Park is located in Karnataka. Bandipur National park is started in 1974 and is spread in 874.20 square km.
Attraction of Bandipur is Aisan Elephants and Tigers.
Best time to visit from October to May.
